I currently have 16 feeds in my Blogline account. There are some interesting ones (by "interesting," I mean, to me) and range from the news, to the arts, and to the animals (the collective animals... not just the birds, this time (see former blog below regarding "chicks" to get "it")). Anyhow... There was an interesting little blurb about Caecilians in one of the feeds. What are they, you ask?
Caecilians are a lesser-known group of amphibians (Order Gymnophiona) that have no limbs and only a very short tail.

They look like glorified worms, really. Too lazy to look for picture yourself? Fine. Voila. Picture.
Don't say I never gave you anything. You know, in the days of Yore, you would have had to check this little bad boy out in the encyclopedia. And not just online wikipedia... full-on five-hundred-pound-Britannica-edia. Amazing how our research abilities have evolved. Too bad we can't say the same thing for our little legless friend over here. Weird segmented little beastie, huh?

The NY times is also in my Blogline account, as is National Geographic, USA Today, and loads other stuff. Too bad I couldn't figure out the public thingy, or else I would have been able to show you. Oh, well. Maybe next time.

Nice pic. (I'm referring to the comic at the top of the post, though the "glorififed worm" picture is nice too, and kind of ties in with my recent post about Dune). Thanks for the comment about the Monty Python. Imbedding video into your blog is super easy. Just go to youtube, find a cool video, then click on the "post video" option below the video screen. If you have a youtube account, just log in and select the blog you want to post to; if you don't have a youtube account, sign up, register your blog and you are good to go.
Yeah, but then I have to give my blog password to youtube. I dunno. Too much mixing. I'll just add the links. Thanks for the info, though!
